We All Grow
We All Grow
My life mantra is “Do what makes your soul happy.” I started my blog as a creative outlet and share my stories as a woman, my motherhood journey, and memories to remember of my daughter’s childhood. In this journey, I was also in search of a Latina community. When I became a first time mother, I would search blogs and Instagram accounts seeking a community of mothers that I can relate to and learn from. I had so many question and needed the advice from mamas that I could relate to as a Latina. We have unique experiences that ties us to our culture, to our family, to our values.
Gradually, I started coming across communities like LA Mamacitas, Super Mamas, and We All Grow. When I heard about the We All Grow Familia event in November, I quickly signed up for it hoping to get a spot. When I attended that event, I learned so much valuable resources as a beginning blogger. Months later, the We All Grow Summit in March was one of those summits where I come out inspired, rejuvenated, and empowered to do more with my blog. Throughout the summit, I had wonderful conversations with other mamas and lifestyle bloggers. These conversations really pushed me to think about how I want to grow my blog and I got excited about collaborations and new ideas. It was all about building a sisterhood of Latina that I can learn from, collaborate, and create a mama tribe with. It was about creating a sisterhood and evolving together.
We All Grow fueled this drive to work towards my dreams, to not be afraid to step out of my comfort zone and not be held back by my fears. Its this beauty of evolution of ourselves into warriors of our dreams.
I was inspired by the Rivera sister, Chiquis, Jacqie , and Jenicka. We need a strong sisterhood around us to push us and encourage us along the way. I felt #neverbetter with Neutrogena’s campaign to make women feel their prettiest. I was inspired by the guest speakers and storytellers. The spirit of social justice came through with speakers including Paola Mendoza, Rosa Clemente and many more.
